11. Pagani Huayra Roadster — $2.4 million
The Pagani Huayra is an Italian mid-engined sports car named after the wind god, Huayra-Tata. The Huayra was named “The Hypercar of the Year 2012” by Top Gear magazine and received a very positive review when tested by Richard Hammond on Top Gear. After that, the carmaker releases the roadster version.
The overall appearance of the car has changed with the most obvious being the open top, typical for a roadster. This roadster uses the same twin-turbo M158 V12 engine with 1,000 Nm of torque. All of this power is delivered to the rear wheels via an all-new 7-speed automatic manual transmission by Xtrac.
According to Pagani, only 100 units were available and all have been sold. The car weights a total of 1280 kg, which is 70 kg lighter than the normal Huayra, and this has made it the first roadster to be lighter than the coupe version
