9. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento – $2.2 million
The Sesto Elemento, which means “Sixth Element” in English, is a two-door, two-seater, V10 high-performance lightweight limited edition supercar produced by the Italian automaker, Lamborghini. The car gets its name as a reference to the atomic number of carbon because of the car’s extensive use of carbon fiber.
The car is equipped with a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission with paddle shift and all-wheel drive system. It has the same powerful engine as the Gallardo, which able to generate 570 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. Lamborghini claims that their Sesto Elemento is able to achieve 100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds with a top speed of over 210 mph.
What is worth taking note is the engine hood design. Air is released through 10 distinctive hexagonal holes in the engine cover, while two intakes funnel cool air into the mid-mounted engine compartment.
